Unsuccessful auction for sale of sugar factory "Dimitrije Tucović", "Matroz", "Inex" and part of property of "Yugoexport"
- The auction for sale of sugar plant "Dimitrije Tucović",
paper factory "Matroz", multistorey building "Inex" and part of property of "Jugoexport" in bankruptcy has been unsuccessful - Privatization Agency of Serbia announced.
As people in the Agency explained, the auction was unsuccessful because none of the interested potential buyers did not pay the deposit for participation in the auction for separate sales of property of those four companies at starting prices that exceed 10 billion RSD (135m EUR).
The starting price of the property of sugar plant "Dimitrije Tucović" in bankruptcy at the second unsuccessful auction was 5.94 billion RSD, that is, about 77m EUR.
The business building of "Inex interexport" in Belgrade's downtown was offered for sale at the starting price of 3.2 billion RSD (about 40m EUR). That building is situated in Kraljice Marije Street, it has 21 floors and surface of 12,900 square meters.
Paper factory "Milan Stepanović Matroz" from Sremska
Mitrovica was offered for sale at the starting price of 656.9m RSD,
which is about 8.6m EUR.
"Yugoexport" building at 508 square meters in Belgrade's downtown, in Majke Jevrosime Street, was also offered for sale and it starting price amounted to 162.6m RSD, that is, about 2.2m EUR.
