1. day
Departure from Belgrade at 8 a.m. and travel by Ibar Highway to Valjevo via
Lazarevac. Traditional welcome in Hotel GRAND, accommodation and
sightseeing of the city and surrounding : Muselim s Castle, monuments of
national poetess Desanka Maksimovic and duke Zivojin Misic, visit to
Tresnjar, part of the city with old artisans and handicrafts, association of
mushrooms gatherers... Visit to Monastery Lelić, Bishop s Nikolaj Velimirovic
and his father s endowment. Trip to Monastery Celije settled in the canyon of
river Gradac and visit to School of Icon Painting conducted by nuns of monastery.
Drive to Mountain Lodge on Debelo Brdo for lunch in natural environment.
Speciality of the area – roasted lamb. Departure to Valjevo in the afternoon and
visit to Monastery Jovanja, walk and still evening prayer in the monastery yard.
Dinner and accommodation in hunting lodge.

2. day
After breakfast visit to Gallery of Modern Art with paintings of Ljuba Popovic,
among others, and drive to Struganik. Visit to the birth house of Duke Zivojin
Misic, settled in pleasant area full of history. Ravna Gora Mountain, ethno-
village Kostunici with exhibition of handcrafts, domestic products, medical herbs...
Departure to Belgrade via Gornji Milanovac and arrival late in the evening.
End of programme.
