Opening of Third exhibition of municipalities of Serbia in 45 days

The Third exhibition of municipalities, which will be held under slogan "Treasury of business opportunities", will be organized on October 28 and 29, 2008, in SPC Vojvodina (“Spens”) in Novi Sad.

The Exhibition of municipalities in Novi Sad will be an exceptional collection of specialist seminars, promotive activities, exchange of experiences, dialogues with specialized companies, representatives of the Government, international advisers, financial institutions and project bureaus.

The theme of this year's exhibition is “Which practice gives the best results?”.

Everything will take place on six parallel points:

- VIP room – Dialogue between the Government, economy and international officials about the admission into EU, and it is expected that it will be more than dialogue and that the real Summit of Mayors will take place just before the beginning of year 2009.

- TREASURY OF SERBIA – Exhibition of attractive resources and products for export, interesting tourist products, festivals and maps with natural resources. Exhibition "Attractiveness of local community" will be especially interesting. This theme will include presentation of marketing campaigns and advertising material. The exhibition of municipal web sites will also be very interesting.

- BUSINESS NETWORK OF MUNICIPALITIES – networking and strategic development projects, presentation of development agencies, clusters, offers of development capacities on municipal markets, rural networking, franchising…

- NEW TECHNOLOGIES – technology in function of modern municipality is a specialized exhibition in form of a demonstration center that will present video conference, electronic administration, call- center, offer on the software market, IP television, energy solutions, ecological programs, communications with citizens, Interenet, etc. - all that at one place.

- INFRASTRUCTURE – plans for privatization of public utility companies, industrial zone.

- SEMINARS – Government's guide for year 2009.

The organizer of the exhibition is EPICENTAR, the Novi Sad-based strategic development organization. EPICENTAR is the laureate of number of certificates, such as “Green Leaf” in field of ecology and Silver medal in Brussels, and it is the representatives of Serbia at the World Employment Congress in Milano. This organization has, so far, realized large number of economic and social development projects, such as: Art Fair, Energy Fair, Social Dialogue, TReasury - Exhibition of Municipalities, Rural Development, Export Promotion. Some of the non-profit projects it implemented are: Baby exit – Festival of Optimism, Pupils' Oscar, Small Kids Companies…
