BRNABIC: Coordination Council for e-government to be formed in 2017

(Ana Brnabic) the Government of Serbia will form the Coordination Council for e-government at one of the upcoming sessions, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told eKapija and emphasized that the institution would be formed before the end of 2017.

The purpose of the Coordination Council for e-government is to enable a public-private dialogue between all interested sides and to coordinate the activities of state institutions in establishing electronic government in its full capacity. Furthermore, the council will coordinate the implementation of new electronic services for citizens and the business sector, electronic payments and a record of payments for state services, electronic document storage, development of cloud services, as well as doing away with relics of the past such as stamps and payment slips.

As announced earlier, Brnabic will preside over the Council, and representatives of the business sector and experts will take part in its operations, in addition to the relevant institutions.
