Serbian companies contract jobs worth around EUR 6 million at Cologne fair

The companies from Serbia which took part in this year's Cologne Anuga 2017 fair, in the organization of the CCIS and the DAS, contracted jobs worth around EUR 6 million according to initial estimates.

As the CCIS reported, 21 companies from Serbia presented their products at two national stands at the pavilions Fine Food and Frozen Food. Serbian exhibitors had over 1,400 bilateral talks and meetings with potential partners from Germany, Poland and other EU members, and also Japan, Ukraine and other states interested in importing food from Serbia.

Anuga is the biggest international food fair in the world and the most important one for producers all over the world. It is held biennially in Cologne at Koelnmesse GmbH on 284,000 square meters. This year, 7,000 exhibitors from 98 countries presented their products from October 7 through 11. Anuga 2017 attracted 160,000 visitors from 187 countries.


The traditional participation of Serbian companies in the most renowned international food fair enables exhibitors from Serbia to present their products, export them to new markets, enhance the existing business contacts and make new ones.
