Serbia has not exported steel below market price to European countries, as officially confirmed in a report by the European Commission on October 6.

The explanation says that the country has been exempt from the investigation due to the small volume of the export of hot-rolled steel, whereas other countries investigated by the European Commission for their export of steel, Brazil, Ukraine, Russia and Iran, have had antidumping fees of EUR 17.6 to EUR 96.5 per ton imposed on them.

This is another one in the range of measures taken by the EU in order to protect European steel producers from disloyal, especially Chinese, competition.
