The Ministry of Economy of Serbia has opened a new public invitation for bids for the purchase of 75% of the capital of the Sombor-based company Betonjerka at the initial price of EUR 540,581.

The capital offered was estimated at EUR 1.08 million late last year, and the initial price at the previous public invitation was identical, but no bids were sent.

Applications may be submitted by November 6, and the bids will be opened on November 8.

Betonjerka produces construction concrete and has 41 workers.

The company was sold to businessman Slavisa Puric for EUR 3.6 million in 2007, but the privatization was canceled in 2008, as the new owner had failed to meet the contracted obligations.

Let us remind that no bids were sent during the previous public invitation, causing the sale to be pronounced unsuccessful.
