IMK 14. oktobar officially gets new owner – Acquisition contract signed

(Zoran Milosavljevic and Vojislav Sparavalo at the signing of the contract) The Krusevac-based company IMK 14. oktobar has a new owner – the Belgrade-based company SCMG 14. oktobar, and the acquisition contract was signed by Zoran Milosavljevic on behalf of the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency and Vojislav Sparavalo, director of SCMG, a subsidiary of Czechoslovak Group from the Czech Republic.

As the company says in its press release, the facility will be symbolically taken over on October 14, the Day of Liberation of Krusevac in WW2, on which occasion long-term development plans will also be presented.

By taking over the company which used to produce heavy mechanization, excavators and caterpillar tractors, as well as components for tanks, SCMG has become the owner of IMK 14. oktobar and will initiate the production immediately after acquiring the working permit, the press release says.
