New deadline for concession of Belgrade Airport – Binding bids by November 23, 2017

The Government of Serbia and the Nikola Tesla Airport have once again extended the deadlines in the process of concession of the airport.

The new deadline for the submission of binding bids is November 23, 2017.

As stated in the explanation, “the deadline by which the Public Body, in this case, the Government of Serbia and the Nikola Tesla Airport, is supposed to submit the final version of the draft agreement on concession to bidders qualified for Phase 2 has been extended until October 23, 2017”.

The object of the concession, the invitation for which was placed on February 10, 2017, is financing, development through construction and reconstruction, maintenance and managing of the infrastructure and performing the activities of the operator of the Nikola Tesla Airport.

Other elements of the Public Invitation of February 10 remain unchanged, the announcement says.

Let us remind that the candidates for the concession of the Belgrade Airport are the Swiss-French consortium of the Zurich Airport with Eiffage and Meridiam Eastern Europe Investments, the Indian-Greek consortium of GMR Infrastructure Limited and Terna, the French company Vinci Airports, the South Korean-Turkish-Cypriot consortium of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Yatirimlari ve Islatme and VTB Capital Infrastructure and the Chinese consortium of HNA and China National Aero-Technology.
