Postanska Stedionica Bank agreeing cooperation with China Union Pay – Dina chip card soon

Postanska Stedionica Bank will soon start developing the Dina chip card and, in cooperation with the National Bank of Serbia, issue a new post card enabling payment in installments in agreement with big commercial chains, Bojan Kekic, chairman of the bank's Executive Board, said today.

He said that the bank was negotiating with the company China Union Pay about soon becoming the first bank in the country to enable the users of this brand of cards to withdraw money from ATMs and pay for goods and services at the terminals of Postanska Stedionica Bank.

– In cooperation with the payment systems of NBS, we have focused on the development of the Dina card. Of all Dina cards issued, 80% are issued by us, amounting to around 1.5 million cards. We will soon internationalize the Dina card in cooperation with the Bank of China – Kekic said.

Kekic announced that the expansion of the bank in Serbia's south and the opening of new branch offices in Vojvodina were planned in the next period.
