Vlasotince seeking private partner for modernization of public lighting

(Illustration) Municipalities and towns throughout Serbia have been replacing public lighting in the past years at an increased pace, and these projects are often financed through public-private partnerships. The Municipality of Vlasotince also opted for this model and recently placed a public invitation for a partner.

The private partner to be selected will be put in charge of the reconstruction, rationalization and maintenance of public lighting in the municipality.

– The object of the agreement of the public-private partnership is the carrying out of measures to the end of achieving a more efficient power consumption, an adequate reduction of the emission of CO2 and the reduction of operating costs of a part of the system of Javno Osvetljenje Vlasotince – the invitation states.

Bids may be submitted by November 10, 2017. As stated, the new lighting should feature LED technology.
