Google will enable the usage of a “smarter” version of Gmail these days. The popular mail service will start recognizing text that might be turned into a link in the messages and perform the function.

For example, if you get an email containing a physical address, a phone number or an email address, Gmail will recognize it and make it clickable.

In other words, it will no longer be necessary to copy the text to the browser's address bar, another mail etc. Instead, it will be enough to click on the linked text.

If you click on a phone number, your own phone will dial it immediately, whereas email links will, naturally, open a window for sending the message to the address. Clicking on a physical address will open Google Maps.

The feature will soon be available for all desktop computers and phones running iOS or Android.
