The renowned Turkish chain Simit Sarayi, which operates across the globe, has opened five outlets in Belgrade, and another two outlets are expected to open.

The Turkish pastry first became available on September 15, 2017, at 80 Kralja Aleksandre Blvd, following which, the outlets opened at 45 Njegoseva St, 52 Kralja Milana St, 2 Milesevska St. and 34 Goce Delceva St.

As the company told eKapija, outlets at 9 Cika Ljubina St. and 208 Kralja Aleksandra Blvd should open this week. The official opening will be organized in around ten days, once all the outlets have been opened, Simit Sarayi adds.

Simit Sarayi has franchises in London, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Rotterdam, Baku... In addition to standard coffees, the outlets serve the Turkish delight, pies and other desserts.

Let us remind that, this February, Simit Sarayi moved in the outlets of Costa Coffee, the chain which finally closed down late last year, after much speculation.

Simit Sarayi says for eKapija that they have taken over the Costa Cofee outlets in Belgrade only and that they do not intend to operate in other cities in Serbia for the time being.
