Fifteen companies from Serbia at WorldFood Moscow

The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the Development Agency of Serbia, with support by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Serbia, are organizing the presentation of 15 local companies from the sectors of production and processing of fruit and vegetables, confectionery products and eco-products, meat products and drinks, at WorldFood Moscow, to take place from September 11 through 14.

As the CCIS press release says, the companies to present their production and exporting capacities in Moscow are Agroprom Gornji Milanovac, Bahus Paracin, Carnex Vrbas, Ciric Agro Titel, EkoAgri Srbija Bela Crkva, GMP Jarmenovci, ITN Group Belgrade, Jaffa Crvenka, Jugprom Leskovac, Lucic Group Sombor, Mirax Agrar Belgrade, Vino Zupa, PIK Juzni Banat Bela Crkva, Pionir Subotica, Zlatiborac Mackat.

– WorldFood is a great opportunity for companies from Serbia to present their offer to the biggest regional food customers, establish contacts and make business arrangements – says the press release.

Last year, Serbian companies made new business arrangements worth over EUR 7 million at the Moscow exhibit.


The organizers and the UNDP Serbia are organizing the presentation at the National Stand as part of the project “Aid to Commerce – Support to Production Capacities in the Agricultural Sector”.

WorldFood Moscow is one of the leading international fairs in the field of food industry in Russia and former USSR countries and has existed for over 20 years. It takes up more than 56,000 m2 within the exhibition space of Expocentar. In 2016, the fair was visited by around 29,000 people from 89 countries, who were introduced to the production program of over 1,400 exhibitors from 65 countries of the world.

The Russian Federation is Serbia's third biggest trade partner. In the first six months of 2017, the trade between the two countries reached close to USD 1.3 billion. The export from Serbia to the Russian market was worth USD 471 million and was higher by 24.1% than in the first half of 2016. The export to Russia is expected to exceed a billion dollars by the end of the year. In the food sector, Serbia is realizing a growth in the export of fruit and vegetables, milk products, meat and meat products, the press release says.
