"ICM Electronics" to have the first Serbian factory for production and assembling of robot lines built
Novi Sad-based company that deals with automation and robotization of production processes - "ICM Electronics",
will lay the foundation stone for the first Serbian factory for production and assembling of robot lines in Platičevo in Municipality of Ruma.
The new factory will occupy more than 1,000 square meters and it will consist of administrative building and production unit where robot cells and robot systems will be produced.
The production unit represents the result of long-lasting development of company "ICM Electronics", which deals with automation since it was founded and with robotization of production processes since 2006.
The official laying of the cornerstone will take place in the presence of the Ambassador of Japan, Tadashi Nagai, the General Consul of Japan, Teruhiko Shinada, the CEO of the world's most famous manufacturer of robots, Japanese company "Fanuc", for European market, Lionel Mercou, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Novi Sad, Dragan Lukač, and other highest representatives of the government institutions and business partners.
"ICM Electronics" is the authorized system integrator of companies "Fanuc" from Japan and "Motoman" from Sweden, the world's two largest manufacturers of industrial robots.
