After more than six decades, the building of the former US embassy located on the stretch from the Kneza Milosa Street, the Vojvode Milenka Street, all the way to the Sarajevska Street, has been fully torn down.

Two months ago, the excavators started preparing the ground bought last September by Israeli companies Yossi Avrahami and Almogim Holdings, announcing the construction of an underground parking lot for around 500 vehicles, 220 luxury apartments and a mini-settlement with several underground wineries and restaurants. The construction of this complex in the center of Belgrade has been put in charge of a local company, which will employ 250 workers. The Israeli investor has put the architectural design in charge of Israeli and Serbian professionals.

The new residential-office complex in the Kneza Milosa Street should be completed by 2019. The investor has announced that the apartments will be sold during the construction as well, but that the first purchasers will only be able to move in after the exploitation permits are obtained and the registration carried out.

As announced earlier, the complex will consist of 260 luxury residential units, have more than 500 parking spaces, over 5,000 square meters covered by restaurants, stores and everything the residents and their guests need. Furthermore, the complex will feature a pool, a gym and a relaxation area, including gardens and a green belt, allowing for a new lifestyle, similar to that of the leading cities of Europe.
