Bulgarian construction company Trace Group Hold said on Friday its Serbian subsidiaries Trace PZP Nis and Trace PZP Vranje submitted the lowest bids for four out of the six contracts under road maintenance tender in Serbia, Seenews reports.

Trace PZP Vranje placed the lowest offer, of 13.4 million euro, for a contract for the maintenance of 583 kilometres of roads in southeast Serbia, Trace Group Hold said in a bourse filing while Trace PZP Nis filed the lowest price offers for three contracts, envisaging the maintenance of 565 kilometres, 547 kilometres and 482 kilometres of roads, respectively.

The final decision for granting the contracts is expected by the end of September, Trace Group Hold said, Seenews reports.

Tender for road maintenance, which was divided into six parties, was published in May, and after the deadline, interested companies could send bids by August 7, 2017.

The state previously announced that they will sign contracts with respect to obligations, quality, price and maintenance deadline with companies which will be entrusted with road maintenance.
