"Knjaza Miloš" to be sold prior to end of year 2008
- Water bottling company "Knjaz Miloš" from Aranđelovac will be sold by the end of this year - the Manager of Corporate Affairs in "Danube Foods Group", Rade Pribićević, announced yesterday (August 4, 2008).
He said that several large multinational companies were interested in buying "Knjaz Miloš", but he could not name those companies.
- We still don't know who is going to buy "Knjaz" and what its price will be, but the fact is that the company still receives investments. Projected investments in the company in 2008 amount to 8m EUR. Last year, "Knjaz
Miloš" sold 230m liters of products, while expected growth of sales in 2008 amounts to 10% - said Pribićević.
As he explained, the company's share in the water market in Serbia is 36%. According to Belgrade'daily newspaper "Biznis", companies "Pepsi-cola" and "Coca-Cola" also expressed interest in buying "Knjaz Miloš".
"Knjaz Miloš" produces carbonated and non-carbonated water - "aqua viva", "rosa", "Knjaz Miloš", juices, as well as energy drink "guarana".
"Danube foods group" also includes "Subotička mlekara", "Imlek" and "Bambi Banat".
