Without cancellation of "Lufthansa" flights in Serbia
German air company "Lufthansa" is normally functioning in Serbia, and for now there are no flight cancellations, it was announced today (July, 28th, 2008) by Ag Dinhaupt, corporative communications manager of "Lufthansa".
- We can guarantee the same situation would be tomorrow,as the strike could continue and influence changes in flights in the coming days - he stated by phone to BETA agency. He couldn't precise how many days the strike could last.
According to Dinhaupt, the passenger should check all company's flights at their web site (http://lufthansa.com/online/portal/LH_COM) and come to the airport on time.
"Lufthansa" has direct flights from Belgrade to Munich, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.
'Verdi' Union started the strike after unsuccessful negotiations with the company's management about the increase of salaries and it has planned protests at big airports in Germany, including important air traffic centers, such as Frankfurt and Hamburg.
