Novi Sad and USAID agreed about cooperation - priority to attract investors

Novi Sad entered MEGA program of American Agency for International Development (USAID), and this program should help the city to attract investments and to encourage development of the private sector, as well as the promote bodies of the local management.

As it was stated after yesterday's (July, 23rd, 2008) meeting between the Mayor of Novi Sad, igor Pavlicic and USAID Director for Serbia and Montenegro, Mike Harvy, cooperation between Novi Sad and USAID will be based on support in realization of greenfield and brownfield investments, in setting up the zones of promoted business making, in founding of business incubator, as well as in the promotion of the local business climate, which would fasten up profits and realizations of foreign investments, and which would open up new working places.

From the Mayor's cabinet, they announced that in the next 4 years, Novi Sad would become reliable and good environment for investments.
