MINISTRY OF THE SEA, TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE OF CROATIA REVOKED 12.000 BILATERAL LICENCES TO THE SERBIAN SHIPER COMPANIES
Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Croatia revoked 12.000 bilateral licences to the Serbian shiper companies for international transport through Croatia. According to the words of PR of the Ministry, Ms Marina Haluzan, licence freeze will be in force until the case of the company "Koncar Energy Transformers" would be settled.
Transformers, that have been bought by Serbian company "Power Network", arrived to Novi Sad and to Belgrade by railway, and to the transformer stations, they were supposed to be transported by trucks. Company "Koncar" engaged for this job the Zagreb shipper company "Zagrebtrans", but this Croatian company was not able to get the transport licence through Serbia, so the transformers have stayed for six months at the same place were they have been disembarked.
By the law regulation in Serbia this kind of service could be provided only by a Serbian company, so when the Serbian Ministry of Infrastructure issued the licence to the company "Zagrebtrans", the Association of the Serbian Transporters denied this licence and brought charges against the authorities from the Ministry.
Serbia revoked the licence to the company "Zagrebtrans", and after, that the Croatian Minister of Transport, Mr. Bozidar Kalmeta freeze 12.000 licences to the Serbian transport organizations.
