Production of BIP beer renewed – Renowned brand to be available in the region by the end of 2017

The production of BIP beer, once the most popular beer in the country and the region, has been renewed following the beginning of technical cooperation between the company M6-Eden and Beogradska Industrija Piva (BIP). It is expected that all the BIP products will be made available to consumers throughout Serbia by the end of this month. BIP beer, which used to be a symbol of the capital of Serbia and one of the most sold beers in the whole of Balkans, is still produced where it originated – in the brewery near Mostarska Petlja, M6 reports.

BIP beer, the production of which involves the latest technology, has kept its recognizable label and character.

– We have paid special attention to quality control in all segments of the production – says Aleksandar Popovski, director of M6-Eden Serbia.

Popovski emphasizes that BIP beer will be made available once again in most of Serbia in cooperation with their partners and that it will also enter the markets of the region, where it was available more than quarter of a century ago, by the end of the current year.

– We are aware that BIP beer is not an ordinary brand and that it is a symbol of a society and a time many remember with fondness. We want to revive that emotion and bring BIP beer back to the position and importance it deserves – Popovski says.

– The task of reviving the beer which is an integral part of several decades of tradition and customs of this society is a great honor, but also a great responsibility, for us. We are therefore investing a lot of energy and all our expertise in order to be as successful as possible in our mission and to provide consumers with the kind of beer they expect – Popovski adds.

M6 has so far realized several successful instances of revitalization of big companies in the region in the sector of drink production and turned them into market leaders, such as Pivara Skopje and Tikves, says the press release by the company.
