First Polytan artificial football field turf laid down in Croatia

The first Polytan artificial football field turf in the world, certified in line with the FIFA Handbook 2015 and featuring the prestigious FIFA Quality Pro certificate, has been laid down at the Aminess football center in Novigrad, Croatia.

The project was realized in cooperation with the Maxmar Group from Zagreb and fully meets the needs of professional clubs and players in top leagues.

Aminess hotels and camps approached the investment seriously, estimating that it pays off in the long term to invest in top quality artificial turf.

Early this year, the laying down of artificial turf called LigaTurf RSD Pro II CoolPlus with special granules of Bionic Fiber and an elastic layer was completed. A two-color artificial turf with fibers of 400 microns, specially designed for football games and featuring a unique double bottom, as well as the CoolPlus protection of fibers from overheating, was installed. Specially designed Bionic Fiber granules were used, as was an elastic 25-mm layer, contributing to the top quality of the turf.

The strict criteria from the FIFA Handbook 2015 mostly pertain to the requirements of the FIFA Quality Pro certificates for professional game football fields. These stricter regulations came into effect on January 1, 2017, and are the only valid testing procedures for certifying football players with FIFA Quality and FIFA Quality Pro tags.
