Agrana, MK and consortium Cristal Union-Viro looking to buy Hellenic Sugar plants in Serbia

Greek company Hellenic Sugar Industry reported on Monday, July 3, 2017, that the procedure of bid collection within the process of the sale of its subsidiaries in Serbia had been completed.

The bids were submitted by Austria's Agrana, the French-Croatian consortium Cristal Union-Viro and Novi Sad's MK Group.


Hellenic owns two sugar plants in Serbia, in Crvenka and Sajkas, which had a combined profit of RSD 2.8 billion (around EUR 23 million) last year, Wisebroker reports.
