Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering included in projects of enhancing transport and logistics in Europe

The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Belgrade will be involved in the international project of enhancing transport and logistics in Europe financed by the European Commission, it was announced by the faculty on May 27.

The realization of the project, as part of the Horizon 2020 project, will take a year and is expected to start in October 2017.

As stated in the press release, the Faculty will work with some of the most prestigious European science and education institutions, such as the Coventry University, the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, the Thessaloniki Center for Research & Technology and the Technical University of Berlin.


The participants are to prepare a detailed study of the future needs and priorities in the transport sector in the European Union.

The development of an web platform, which should act as a knowledge base of all the most important achievements in transport until the present day, is also planned.
