Final four 2018 company set up

The board members of the City Assembly adopted on Thursday (June 15, 2017) the Decision on the set up of the Final Four Belgrade 2018 company, Beoinfo reports.

The City Council member, Dragomir Petronijevic, reminded that Belgrade is trying to reach this competition since 2002.

– This competition will be held in 2018 in Belgrade and therefore it is necessary to set up a company which will have a necessary mandate. This contest will promote Belgrade in Europe, but also China, where it is very popular. The Assembly will have only three members, all costs and revenues will be carefully monitored. We are expecting visit of at least 10,000 foreign tourists, with the shortest stay of five days and a minimum consumption of EUR 100 a day, so Belgrade will certainly make profit. Belgrade is a city of basketball and we are proud of the fact that this competition will be organized in our city - Dragomir Petronijevic said.
