Bankruptcy proceedings in Beohemija-Inhem halted

The Commercial Court of Zrenjanin has reached the decision of halting the bankruptcy proceedings in the bankruptcy debtor Beohemija-Inhem, opened by the court's decision of May 2016.

The explanation of the bankruptcy judge Aleksandar Stoiljkovski says that the monetization of the bankruptcy estate was carried out in the bankruptcy procedure and that the bankruptcy debtor was sold as a legal entity to Novi Sad's Preston at the price of RSD 2.5 billion at a public bidding.

The bankruptcy proceeding will continue over the bankruptcy estate of Beohemija-Inhem, consisting of the monetary amount acquired through the sale of the bankruptcy debtor as a legal entity and the part of the bankruptcy estate which was not the subject of the sale of the bankruptcy debtor as a legal entity.


Representatives of Preston announced that Beohemija-Inhem was looking at a considerable increase in sales in 2017.

The most important pieces of property of Beohemija-Inhem consist of registered trademarks (Duel, Duel Jorgovan, Duel Totalno Cisto and Deus), production facilities and the new liquid detergent factory, facilities and equipment, claims and loans, as well as ongoing investments – construction of a residential facility in Zrenjanin and the Metalochemic hall within the factory...
