The Belgrade-based company Informatika a.d. presented its solutions for automation in the rubber industry at the 20th Tires & Rubber Moscow fair.
As Vesna Removic, director of the automatics sector in the company, says, Informatika has been present in the Russian market for nearly 30 years, realizing a great number of automation systems in various industries.
– One of the fields in which Informatika has left a deep mark in the markets of Russia and Belarus is the rubber industry, which is why we’ve started taking part in this prestigious international fair, where, with several pauses, we’ve been present for over ten years. In the past period, we’ve worked with many rubber factories from the territory of Russia and Belarus, such as Belshina, Bobruisk (Belarus), Omskshina (Omsk, Russia), Voltair (Volzhsky, Russia), Altay Shina (Barnaul, Russia)... – says Removic.
She adds that, among other things, they’ve automated the processes of preparing raw materials, storing soot, storing raw materials, as well as for vulcanizing and tire machines. They’ve also designed and realized a laser measuring station for measuring the thickness of the tire in the calendaring process.
– At this year’s fair, Informatika also presented the solution implemented in early 2017 in the Altay tire factory in Barnaul, Russia, pertaining to replacement of driving engines and modernization of their control and supervision system – Removic said.
This year’s Tires & Rubber Moscow took place on April 24-27 at Moscow’s Expocenter.
