Chinese company Investment in Hebei Co. LTD interested in cooperating with Serbia – Focus on production of construction materials

Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic talked on Saturday, April 29, to Ambassador of China to Serbia Li Manchang and a delegation of the Chinese company Investment in Hebei Co. LTD, interested in cooperation in the field of mining and geological exploration, above all in production of building materials.

As stated in the press release by the ministry, it was concluded at the meeting that there was a mutual interest in the cooperation and it was agreed for an expert team from China, to define, in cooperation with local experts, a list of potential projects, as well as models of future cooperation, in the shortest amount of time possible.

– Seeing how a large number of important investments are realized in Serbia in the fields of energy, construction and infrastructure, it was noted at the meeting that investors from China believed that Serbia had great potential regarding investments in energy and infrastructural projects – the press release says.

It reminds that the Chinese investments in Serbia have been stimulated by a number of agreements on cooperation between the two countries, thereby further solidifying the traditionally good political and economic relations.
