Public invitation announced for registration and payment of stocks of closed investment fund "Fima Southern Europe Activist"
"Fima
invest" has announced the public invitation today (May 27, 2008) for
registration and payment of stocks of fund “FIMA Southern
Europe Activist”.
Fima announced that the Securities Commission of Republic of Serbia had approved the request for founding of the closed investment fund "Fima Southern Europe Activist" on May 22, 2008.
According to the words of the CEO of company "FIMA Invest", Milan Marinković, founding assembly of the stockholders of the Fund and final activities for registration of that finance group are expected in the first week of July.
According to the announcement, the investment policy of "Fima Southern Europe Activist" will be based on the focused investments in the portfolio with the modest returns higher than the growth rate of the stock exchange indices on referential markets.
"Fima Southern Europe Activist" will be the fund that will try to participate in the corporate management processes with its "activist" approach and it will invest efforts in creation of the added value by improving operations and transparency of the companies whose securities are the subjects of the investments.
The starting value of the stock between
May 30 and June 30 will amount to 10,000 RSD, and the buyers of stocks can be
both physical and juristic persons from the country and abroad.
