Ubisoft opens studio in Belgrade - Job for another 20 programmers and designers more by the end of 2017
Ubisoft, one of the five
largest issuers in the world of video games, has opened today the doors of
their studio in Belgrade where they presented the latest projects and future
plans for the Serbian market video games, the company announced.
Belgrade-based
Ubisoft is the latest production studio within Ubisoft network and fourth in
Eastern Europe, where within the group they have already been operating in
Bucharest (since 1992), Sofia (since 2006) and Kiev (since 2008).
Opening of new studio and continued
expansion of Ubisoft team in this region is a logical step for the company when
significant results and experience gained so far in Eastern Europe, is taken
into an account as well as IT sector growth in the region and great experts in
the relevant fields.

In the past few
months, Belgrade-based Ubisoft has worked on development of the PC version of
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands, one of the biggest AAA brands in Ubisoft. The
team currently has 20 members who work closely with offices in Bucharest and
Paris on this game. It
is planned that by the end of the year the team expands to 40 members and to
include other professional profiles.
Let us remind that, that the company opened its Belgrade-based office in November 2016.
