Representatives of German company ‘ThyssenKrupp’, will be visiting Serbia on May, 25th - interested in privatization of RTB “Bor”
Minister of economy, Mladjan Dinkic, announced on Wednesday (May,7th, 2008), that representatives of German “ThyssenKrupp” will be in Serbia on May, 25th, in order to discuss privatization of Mine-smelting basin “Bor”.
Dinkic said on this occasion that after two unsuccessful tenders for privatization of RTB, he was considering a model of strategic partnership and joint investing, which Serbia applied in case of Zastava and Fiat.
“ThyssenKrupp” is a large technological German company and one of the biggest steel manufacturers in the world. It has 670 smaller companies and about 190.000 workers.
A company from Dusseldorf, whose production program includes a variety of products, from steel, aluminum up to car parts and elevators, according to last year’s results, marks sale of 51 billions EUR.
This company was founded in 1999, when “Thyssen” was united with “Friedrich Krupp”.
