Contest for director of JP Stara Planina opens

The Government of Serbia has opened a contest for the director of the Knjazevac-based mountain tourism development public enterprise Stara Planina for a period of four years.

Contest for the directors of public enterprises Nuklearni Objekti Srbije, Javno Preduzece za Sklonista, Emisiona Tehnika i Veze, Putevi Srbije, Transnafta, Koridori Srbije, Drzavna Lutrija Srbije, as well as of four national parks: Tara, Djerdap, Fruska Gora and Kopaonik.

The National Assembly of Serbia adopted the Law on Public Enterprises in late February 2016, envisioning the appointment of directors of public enterprises in Serbia at public contests. Furthermore, candidates mustn't be party officials.

Candidates must have at least five years of working experience in positions requiring high education and at least three years of working experience in activities the public enterprise in question deals in.

The application deadline is 30 days from the date of the publication in the Official Gazette.
