Mitsubishi and Kronospan interested in MSK

The Japanese Mitsubishi and the company Kronospan Srbija, one of the factories of the world leader in the production of wood-based panels, which has been successfully operating in Paracin since 2003, are the potential purchasers of Metanolsko-Sircetni Kompleks (MSK) in Kikinda, Politika learns.

The negotiations are being carried out on behalf of MSK by Srbijagas, which owns 87% of MSK due to outstanding debts, whereas the rest is owned by the Government of Serbia.

MSK has fully paid its gas bill for January in the amount of RSD 657.7 million, as have Azotara and Petrohemija, which paid RSD 537.2 million and RSD 236.2 million in January respectively.

Let us remind that the public invitation for the privatization of MSK is in progress. Interested bidders may apply by March 10, 2017.
