Darkom raising collection and cooling center in Sabac – Germany's Carl Kuehne interested in starting production as well

The City of Sabac is preparing for new investments in agricultural and food industry. The company Darkom has bought land for the construction of a collection and cooling center for agricultural products in the North West Work Zone, eKapija learns at the local self-government.

Darkom d.o.o. Rumenka (Novi Sad) deals in wholesale trade of fruit and vegetables. Aside from Sabac, it has facilities in Subotica, Vrbas, Belgrade and Sombor.

Darkom has confirmed for our portal that they are planning to raise a collection center on the land with an area of 15,000 m2, but couldn't say more about the schedule and the deadlines for now.

It is known that the German company Carl Kuehne, which produces vinegar, mustard, spiced sauces, pickles, dressings and sweet spreads, is also interested in raising a facility in the Sabac Industrial Zone. Cark Kuehne's products are present in 70 states, the company is headquartered in Hamburg and has production facilities in France, Turkey and Poland.


The City Council of Sabac has also announced the construction of an agribusiness center, a complex in close proximity to the North West Work Zone, encompassing a wholesale green market, agricultural mechanization, tools and veterinary product stores...
