Jela Jagodina to be equipping Belgrade Waterfront apartments with furniture – Company completing construction of new factory

The house furniture company Jela Jagodina will be equipping the new Belgrade Waterfront settlement with furniture, the company's owner, Miroljub Radovanovic, stated on February 22.

– Jela has received all certificates for equipping the Belgrade Waterfront. This means that we've met the high standards of a big international company – he said.

Jela is a family business founded 26 years ago and it exclusively produces furniture for children's rooms, living rooms and bedrooms, kitchens, hallways...

The company is completing the construction of a new 10,000 square meter factory, where the latest production technology is to be installed. The new factory is being built on the location of the current one of 9,000 square meters in the form of extension of the current production complex.

The company's representative Nikola Radovanovic says that Jela exports to all countries of former Yugoslavia, as well as to Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, but also Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia, Kazakhstan... Jela employs 180 people, and the average employee age is 30, he added.

Jela started the serial production of furniture in 1999, using the technology of the world-renowned producers (Biesse, Homag, IMA). Today, it uses the latest digital machinery to produce furniture that can fit in all types of premises, built mostly from imported materials, including braces.
