Investors show great interest in privatizing PKB

The deadline for the submission of letters of intent for the privatization of PKB expired on Friday, February 17, 2017. As RTS learned at the Ministry of Economy, there's great interest among both foreign and local investors. The exact number of letters submitted will be revealed this week, when the deadline for the submission of bids sent by mail expires.

Before the public invitation was opened, there had been speculations that Chinese companies, but also El Dahra of the United Arab Emirates, were interested in PKB.

Based on the letters of intent, the competent bodies should decide on the model and the opening of the tender for the privatization of PKB.
