Henkel developing new 3D printing solutions

The company is a renowned supplier of materials such as acrylic, silicone, epoxide and high performance polyurethane adhesives used in medical and electronic devices, as well as for the construction of transport vehicles.
– Henkel plans to expand its broad product range by introducing novel light cure resins. The materials are to be deployed in SLA/DLP printing and will be commercialized in 2017 – says the press release.
Henkel’s hotmelt adhesives have already been used in the 3D-printing of functional applications such as furniture and elements for buildings. Henkel is focusing development in this area on providing novel filament and powder materials for us in SLS and FDM printers.
