In 2016, the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport made record business results for the third year in a row, as the growth of the passenger turnover was followed by a growth in profit, said acting director Sasa Vlaisavljevic.

The company's 2016 income will not be lower than EUR 75 million, whereas the net profit will exceed EUR 25 million.

Vlaisavljevic expect more than five million passengers at the largest airport in Serbia in the current year. Last year, the company served 4.9 million passengers (a growth of 3.1%).

In the first month of the current year, the airport served 329,843 passengers (a growth of 13.5%), a new January record, Wisebroker reports.
