City of Pirot proposes sale of Prvi Maj property in parts – Several investors interested in leasing factory’s facility

The City Administration of Pirot has taken the position that the property of AHA Mura Prvi Maj should be sold in parts, as reported on the occasion of the announcement of the fourth sale of AHA Mura Prvi Maj property.

The local self-government has sent a proposal to the administrative receiver for the property of the bankruptcy debtor to be sold in sections, as well as to lease the immovable property to interested investors as soon as possible, before the final sale.

The City of Pirot, as a secured creditor, has also proposed, in case this type of sale is not possible, and if it’s only possible to sell the bankruptcy debtor as a whole, for the sale to be carried out through collection of bids.

As the report adds, the proposals submitted to the administrative receiver are a result of the experience with unsuccessful sales so far and of several talks with potential investors and their proposals.

– The administrative receiver has been sent letters of intent by some of the interested investors, which plan to employ up to 1,000 workers.
