New sale of Zelvoz in bankruptcy – Deadline for bidders February 21, 2017

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency has opened a new sale of Smederevo's Zelvoz in bankruptcy, the estimated value of which is RSD 1.15 billion.

Zelvoz is being offered as a corporate entity, and the sale is to be carried out through direct contracting.

The factory is operational, repairs rail cars and employs 359 workers.

The bid submission deadline is February 21, and interested purchasers need to pay the deposit of around RSD 115 million in order to take part in the bidding.

This is the fourth attempt at a sale of Zelvoz. The third attempt, which took place on January 23, was unsuccessful.
