Acquisition of Toza Markovic by Srbijagas approved

The Commission for Protection of Competition of Serbia has approved the acquisition of Toza Markovic Kikinda by Srbijagas, which now has majority or 100% ownership in nine enterprises in Serbia and co-owns five companies.

Srbijagas became the owner of 65.9% of the assets of the roof and ceramics tile company Toza Markovic based on its gas debt.

According to the data by the Commission for Protection of Competition, Srbijagas supplies big industrial consumers and distributors, connected to the transport and distribution pipeline system, with two billion cubic meters of natural gas a year.

Srbijagas' subsidiaries include Prirodni Gas from Pancevo, Gas from Becej, HIP Azotara from Pancevo, Loznica-gas from Loznica, Metanolsko-Sircetni Kompleks from Kikinda, Transportgas and Distribucijagas from Novi Sad, Specijalna Luka from Pancevo and Toza Markovic.


Its affiliates include Progresgas-Trejding, Yugorosgas and Informatika from Belgrade, Banatski Dvor underground gas storage and Sogas from Novi Sad.
