In the first half of 2017 the Belorussian MAZ will deliver 50 truck chassis that the Belgrade-based company Vatrosprem proizvodnja will install in fire engines for the Emergency Coordination Department of the Serbian Ministry of Interior, Vatrosprem proizvodnja announced today.

This forms part of a trade and financial arrangement that was recently agreed in Minsk between the Serbian and Belarus governments.

The National Bank of Belarus will finance delivery of the truck chassis to Serbia.

“This is a very important deal for Serbia because the average age of the Ministry's fire trucks is over 30 years”, said Dragiša Marinković, general manager of Vatrosprem proizvodnja.

He said that the participation of a local company in the procurement of fire engines for the Ministry means that they will have high-quality service.

Marinković also said that Vatrosprem proizvodnja will continue to cooperate with MAZ on accessing foreign markets.
