Owners of the Romanian textile factory Avantgarde, which has facilities in Bucharest, Timisoara and Turnu Severin, are looking to expand their production capacities to the municipality of Kladovo as well, as reported on the municipality`s website.

The idea is seven years old, but the authorities at the time failed to recognize its importance, say Iluta Trut and Cristian Balan, owners of the company, at their meeting with Radisav Cuculanovic, president of the municipality of Kladovo, and his associates.

Avantgarde has been operating in Romania for 25 years and it employs around 200 workers. The expansion of the capacities to Kladovo would lead to employment of around 50 people. All the requirements for the realization of this idea have been met, Balan believes.

The delegation of the municipality of Kladovo has visited the Avantgarde facility in Turnu Severin and has been introduced to its range of products. The concrete realization is now to follow, that is, finding the location and carrying out other necessary activities for the opening of the production facility in Kladovo, the website says.
