This year's production of all versions of the Fiat 500L model started at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia on Monday, January 9, 2017. The production process is organized in two shifts, during which the factory produces up to 450 finished cars a day.

The management of FCA Serbia says that this year's production plan of the company is on the 2016 level, when the Kragujevac factory, according to official information, produced around 85,000 cars.

Unofficial information says that a redesigned Fiat 500L model will be offered in European and North American markets in the current year and the “Big Fica” should appear in the market by mid-2017.

Prior to that, it will be presented to the public in the world and locally at one of the international automobile exhibits, most probably at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, considered the most important exhibit of its type in the world. In March 2012, the then latest Fiat model, 500L, had its world premiere at the exhibit.
