"Telefonija" invested about 6m EUR in gas infrastructure and Internet

Company "Telefonija" has invested 4,043m EUR in gas infrastructure, that is, in distributive gas network on the territory of local communities Bajmok and Čantavir in municipality of Subotica, which created preconditions for commencement of connecting of about 7,200 potential gas users to the system at the end of year 2008.

According to the announcement of "Telefonija", 1,612m EUR was invested in dependent company "Beotelnet" in 2007 for the sake of technological equipping and application of the up-to-date technologies in field of Internet. The state-of-the-arts equipment of renowned manufacturers in field of networking and wireless transfer and security systems has been installed. In that way, the conditions have been created for "Beotelnet" to keep its market position in providing the top quality services, mainly to business users.

"Telefonija" announced that such high level of investments, which was verified by the international appraisal company SGS, was the result of long-term business determination of Stock Company "Telefonija" to become a significant partner in field of gas distribution and to keep its leading position in field of Internet providing.
