The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS) and the Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) have invited companies to apply for the international industrial fair Hannover Messe in Germany and the private label fair PLMA in the Netherlands.

CCIS and DAS are organizing the exhibits of Serbian businessmen at the international industrial fair Hannover Messe, to be held in Hannover from April 24 till 28, 2017.

Hannover Messe has more than six decades of tradition and is the leading industrial fair in Europe. More than 5,200 exhibitors took part in the fair in 2016, and there were around 200,000 visitors. Serbia will present itself in Hannover at the national stand, meant for business entities, entrepreneurs and business associations from Serbia dealing in production in the metal and mechanical industry.

CCIS and DAS are also organizing the participation of local companies in the international private label fair PLMA in Amsterdam, to take place on May 16-17, 2017.

PLMA has for more than 30 years been the main meeting spot between producers and representatives of the largest retail chains. More than 4,300 exhibitors took part in the fair in 2016, of which 60 countries presented themselves at national stands.

The national stand of Serbia at the Amsterdam fair will be located in the food product hall. Business entities, entrepreneurs and business associations from Serbia from the sector of food industry have the right of participation.

The deadline for application for Hannover Messe and PLMA is January 10, 2017. The necessary documentation should be sent to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected].

Public invitations for participation in large international fairs Prodexpo and Mosbuild in Moscow, Vitafoods Europe in Geneva and Franchise Expo in Paris were opened earlier.

Participation in fairs enables the exhibitors to present their products, export them and improve the existing business contacts and establish new ones, CCIS reminds.
