Aleksandar Mihajlov took over Zrenjanin-based "Bek" - 17m EUR worth of investments in pipeline
New owner of Meat processing industry "Bek" in Zrenjanin,
Aleksandar Mihajlov, has started to apply reorganization plan, and dismissed workers who have been protesting since November 6, 2007, because they thought that the factory had been illegally brought into bankruptcy, left the factory grounds on Friday (April 4, 2008).
Mihajlov said that the reorganization plan, which was accepted by the Trade Court in Zrenjanin, had anticipated investment of 17m EUR in reconstruction of bankrupted factory and payment of late financial obligations toward workers, as well as hiring of 260 workers.
By the way, new owner of "Beko" is also the owner of Belgrade-based company "Alfa Logistic", he lives in Germany, and he appointed Dragoljub Petrović, a citizen of Zrenjanin, as the CEO of this industry.
