Lasta buying 100 Czech SOR buses – First vehicles arriving soon, shipments until 2018

As many as 100 new SOR buses will become a part of Lasta's fleet in the next two years, and the arrival of the first vehicles can be expected as soon as this December.

– The process of signing an agreement with the Czech company SOR is in progress, through which we should procure 100 new vehicles, thanks to the loan given out by the Czech Development Bank. Between 10 and 20 buses will arrive to Serbia in December already – said Marko Bogdanovic, PR of Lasta.

Bogdanovic added that the majority of the ordered vehicles should be shipped during 2017, whereas the remaining vehicles should arrive in 2018.

– These are suburban buses and will mostly traverse the Belgrade area, where the most important part of our business is carried out – he explained.

Counting the new Czech vehicles, Lasta's fleet will amount to 1,000 buses. The company's vehicles traverse 80 million kilometers and transport more than 100 million passengers a year.
