The consortium made of "Delta" and "Zekstra" will buy 58.52% of state-owned capital in Department Store "Boska" in Banjaluka for 3m EUR.

The Government of Republic of Srpska (RS) made the decision about sale today, says the Head of the Government's PR Bureau, Vera Sajić, who also explained that the buyer had promised to invest 3m EUR in Department Store "Boska", to keep 254 workers and to pay all obligations of that company towards workers in amount of about 750,000 EUR.

- The new owner also took on the obligations of DS "Boska" towards Elektrokrajina, Tax Administration of RS and city of Banjaluka, which amount to over 4.6m EUR - she added.

The decision was made after the Privatization Council adopted the offered privatization model for DS "Boska" and it will be forwarded to the National Parliament of Republic of Srpska for adoption.

That department store was offered for sale on two occasions, in 2004 and 2005, and both auctions were unsucessful. On the last tender, Government of Republic of Srpska rejected the offer worth 1.53m EUR, which was submitted by Swiss branch of company "Zepter".
